Whozat returns to you a list of other queries relevant to your query, mostly people queries.
Some examples of situations when this functionality is especially useful:
- You only filled the keywords query field, seeking a person based only on characterizing keywords or expressions (e.g. "keywords: Los Angeles" mayor will return the related name "Antonio Villaraigosa").
You only entered part of the name of the person (e.g. only the first and middle name) and possibly a few key words (e.g. "first name: John, middle name: C keywords: actor") and you are looking for the full name of hers/his (e.g. "John C Reilly").
- You are interested in other people related to the person whose name you entered in the query fields (e.g. what is the name of the wife of "first name: Harrison last name: Ford"? "Calista Flockhart" will be there... ) or an actor name given the name of a character she/he plays (e.g. who was the actress playing "first name: Ally last name: Mcbeal"? "Calista Flockhart" will be still be there... ) or any other alternate names of a given person (e.g. "first name: Peewee last name: Herman" will give you "Paul Rubens").
- Once you select a name in the scrollbar, a new Whozat query will be be issued, with the selected name and, if present, the keywords field of your original query (e.g. if your original query was "keywords: Los Angeles mayor" and you select the name "Mirthala Salinas", the new query will be "first name: Mirthala last name: Salinas keywords: Los Angeles mayor").
